No CM
Does anyone have any stories about it and what happened?
Post a comment and tell me your stories...
Being a CM is great....
Get lots bingo roomies who become regulars and you get to know them they tell you about thier families and their lives and whats been happening.
They follow you from room to room and if you arent on for few days, they ask after you and it makes u feel really good about this job and makes you feel like you are doing something right.
Best part of i have found of this job not just roomies but the team I work with they are fantastic, so helpful and friendly, and no matter what question u have or problem there is always some1 there to help.
They are great!!!
My legs have closed........
Couple days after was in "legs" working when few roomies commented how much they miss the room and chatting to me and what they going to do at night now?
I said to them "Well things have changed for me too at night since legs have closed"
i was horrified when roomies started laughing and pointed out what i had said and how it sounded.
I was so red faced and quickly rephrased what i said but toooo late bingo roomies were in fits of laughter and i was in tears laughing.
TG they couldnt see how red faced i truly was ROFL!

OOops! Bet your bingo roomies kept reminding you of that one ! LOL! Well done, hope the 'legs' issues has solved itself!

Coming in... going out
I work the 2am to 6am shift in the (hidden)room every morning but Sunday.
I take the handover from another CM - lets call her 'D' 5 out of 6 days a week, so we have gotten to know each other quite well.
One day she convinced the roomies to pretend that they didn't see me when I reported for my shift.
I actually went in the room, said hi to her and the bingo roomies, and got no response.
Left the room, came back and had the same results. I began to panic as I thought I was experiencing serious technical issues. After the third time leaving the room and re-entering, she finally sent me an MSN message to tell me what she did.
I felt great relief that I wasn't having tech issues, and got a good laugh, but I knew I had to get even with her.
So, a few days later, when I reported for my shift, I entered the bingo room and immediately said....."I enjoyed the chat, best of luck roomies and have a great day. See you all tomorrow," and left the room and waited for her to MSN me before returning to the room.
I have been a CM since October 2007 and I enjoy it very much. I like chatting with people from UK and surrounding areas because I get to learn about parts of the world I haven't visited yet.

Finger stuck - typing is difficult!
I love this type of work
I always say I should have no excuse to not show up for work!
well the other day I was working around the house before my shift and glued my hands together.
LOL
I spent the first 2 hours of my shift picking glue off my hands and trying to get unstuck it was hilarious.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Wow - it must have been some strong glue. Luckily it she didn't stick her fingers together, because typing in the bingo chat room would have been very difficult. How do you explain to the bingo roomies that you can't spray bingo fairy dust because your fingers are stuck together?

A CM's day ....
__________________________________________
Normally a day of ours looks like this, we get up early in the morning as we have most of the mornings off, we do our shopping & housework and other things that need to be done before we start at 12pm.
During the shifts we are practically absorbed by the rooms we are in, as players and customers require attention and help so we make sure we are there for them if they need us :)
Then, when we finish, some days at 6pm, some at 8pm or even at 12am we have a bit of dinner, watch some tv with family, have some friends over the times we finish earlier and then off to bed and ready for the next day of work :)
We both love it, it really works for us being at home, especially when we will have children (hopefully very soon lol) and it's been great so far.
Suppose it will be a bit more difficult for both of us the day we will have kids but I know that one way or another we will learn how to combine the 2 together and we will help each other :)
It's just perfect because the job is so flexible and it gives you the time off that we all need, it keeps you busy and at the same time, if you wish, you can work overtime to get some extra pounds in :)

Sounds like being a bingo CM is the perfect job for this pair!
From a lovely multi-lingual lady...

I am actually from Romania, I moved to England about 2 years ago because I met and married an english man that I met on the internet anddddd surpriseeeee who actually works for
So I am a romanian CM working in an english bingo chat room, ohhh and wait, in a spanish one too hahaha, as initially I was hired for the spanish rooms.
I speak 6 foreign languages so this job offered me the opportunity to speak and write 2 of these on a day to day basis, which means I now practice spanish daily as most of my shifts are in the spanish bingo room.
It is, as you said, very busy, so we hardly have the time to get bored, we love working together, sharing opinions, having a giggle and giving each other advice on any situation we may encounter. After all this time working together, I couldn't even imagine how it would be for us to work in different places as we got so used to each other that we now don't wanna be apart for 1 minute :).
In 3 words, both me and hubby love being bingo CM's !!! :)))))))
One from Louise
Had 1 player other day say she had started on a specialK diet,at same time had a very funny player in bingo room and quick as wink they said yep they on the whiskey diet, they have lost 3 days already!
Gave me good laugh.
Have had couple roomies who right flirts LMAO, that gives me right giggle and roomies too.
They comment on name or say how sweet and lovely you are, makes you laugh and few times has even made me blush.

Pity we can't see the blushing!!!

large round about,- so that is what I did! I went straight over it ......and
wrote off the car in the process!!!
The driving instructor went mad I told him if he had said go straight ahead then that is what I would have done but he didn't he told me to go straight over!!! rofl
I was only 17 at the time....

Hah hah... good job she works from home now and doesn't have to drive anywhere hey?
Bet she has some other great stories to tell from the bingo rooms, we'll get Michele to come back and tell more...
From Yvonne
I've been a CM with - company name withheld - for 2 yrs now and I have to say its one of the best jobs I have ever had. I work my hours on - BIG online bingo room - and can honestly say that rather than being in a bingo chat room it feels like I'm with a tight community of friends each time I work. I have met so many lovely people and we are all just here for each other through good times and bad times CM's and players alike.
I've had many good times over the past 2 yrs and very few bad times. I'm a bit of a practical joker and have fooled so many people over my time as a CM with my jokes. But it all helps to make the atmosphere fun and friendly and those who have been caught out by my practical jokes have always taken it in good humour and had a good laugh.
The fact that I work from home is also a very big plus to the job. And the uniform is terrific!!! I have a different pair of pyjamas for each day of the week!!!
------------------------Great to hear people love their jobs hey? Well done Yvonne!
